His new old lady
Hometown: Chicago, IL
I’m a gal who enjoys soaking in the sun, sipping a beverage on the veranda, while listening to old tunes over the small radio in the corner. Usually this scene is accompanied by friends, laughter, and much dancing. As the day turns into evening, the colors and sounds only are enhanced. You see the girls spinning in their vintage skirts, and clouds of smoke raise from the gentlemen’s cigarettes. And as I finish up the night, shoes in hand and slinking to bed, I breathe in and take note, that life is good.
What got you interested in pin-up culture? I grew up with a strong interest and connection to the era, including everything from old movies, to family stories, and pictures. I have always felt a comfortability with the era, where I find myself in my element. I know that this is where I am supposed to be, how I am supposed to be, with those that I am supposed to be with, and an era I was once in.
I love to dance 1950s jive! I take classes at Miss Wolff’s jiving school, and to this day, it has easily been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. And when it’s a nice day, I like to go on a motorcycle ride if possible!
Take note of what you have in life, and what others have done for you and realize, you are a millionaire.
