WHAT IS A MOTOBLOT?

The word “Blot” — meaning a gathering for worship or with sacrifice — has its origins in ancient Norse-Pagan culture. A Blot was a gathering with sacrifice.

MOTOBLOT is a celebration of motorcycle and hot rod culture, where the bikes, the builders, the fashion and the music all come together.

WHERE IS MOTOBLOT?

We are thrilled to announce our new location for 2026!

We will be back on the street!

BRIDGEPORT, CHICAGO — Halsted St. from 35th St. to 37th St.

Anchored by the recently renovated Ramova Theater and the upstart Electric Funeral, the historic neighborhood of Bridgeport will be our new home.

RAMOVA THEATER — 3520 S. Halsted St., Chicago, IL

Originally built in 1929 and reopened in 2023 after a major renovation backed in part by Chicago natives Quincy Jones, Jennifer Hudson, and Chance the Rapper, the 1,800-seat Ramova Theater now stands as a restored neighborhood landmark and a fitting anchor for MOTOBLOT.

ELECTRIC FUNERAL — 3529 S. Halsted St., Chicago, IL

Recently christened one of Chicago’s best new bars by Chicago Magazine, Electric Funeral earned this praise: “Opened by the duo behind Jackalope Coffee, the friendliest spooky bar in town has an effortlessly cool and welcoming vibe that can best be defined as ‘if the Munsters had a rec room in the ’70s.’”
