John Goodpaster launched his Expert Motorcycle Works business in 1950 in nearby Hobart, Indiana where it is still in operation today. By the time his son Bob Goodpaster was seven years old, he was working in the shop. Father and son worked and raced alongside each other for over forty-five years.
